From the above, the one request you must make without fail is whether or not you may bring a live-in vehicle. We appreciate that when working away from home read more...

Let’s face it, arriving fashionably late isn’t fashionable at all, it’s frustrating at best and a pain in the backside for any Job Lead to deal with the rest of the time, but what about arriving too early? While you might like to beat the crowds or arrive before the rest of the crew when there’s still plenty of time to choose the best pitch, there are other aspects to consider… Food provisions will read more...

Posted on 24 Nov 2023

With the Government’s announcement of the national minimum wage increase we’d like to clarify what it is you can expect from DC Site Services in terms of pay in the new financial year. As you may be aware, in 2021 we made the decision to pay our crew at least 50 pence above any national minimum wage increase and we continued this into 2022. Catering… When & Why!

Posted on 20 Oct 2023

We know that food and onsite catering can at times be a hot topic amongst crew, so we’d like to break down when to expect a meal provision at an event or festival, and why. We’ll always tell you before arriving onsite via an information pack whether or not there will be food provided so that you may be as prepared as possible for your assignment. I wanted to send a personal message of thanks to you and your team for all their hard work in assisting with the delivery of the broadcast recording at Whitby Abbey.

From my perspective, I tried incredibly hard to impress on everyone involved in the production just how important it was to ‘leave no trace’ and I have been thrilled to hear the feedback that has suggested we were largely successful in that quest.  The way the venue was kept spotless and ‘sanitised’ is a credit to you and your on-site colleagues – so well done.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with DC Site Services again and both Frankie and I look forward to doing so again in the future.
