Recruiting for onsite admin!

Posted on Monday, February 13, 2023

We are recruiting for a dedicated onsite administrator for the larger festivals DC Site Services will be servicing in 2023. These include prominent Events & Festivals such as:

  • Epsom Derby
  • The Royal Windsor Horse Show
  • Taste of London (accommodation provided for this position)
  • Glastonbury festival
  • Latitude festival
  • Leeds festival

This is a role which has been fulfilled by a good number of people over the past thirty years and requires an individual who is organised, computer literate, friendly, approachable, and adaptable.

The role itself includes arriving before the rest of crew and often being amongst the last to leave, helping with the set-up of the onsite office, preparing paperwork for Team Leaders and Managers, and most importantly, signing crew in and out of their shifts.

As a first point of contact you will greet the crew, some of which who will be seasoned, and many who will be brand new to the festival lifestyle. For those who are new, it is often the onsite administrator who makes the first big impression, so approachability is key!

As a dedicated onsite administrator for these events, benefits would include:

  • Flexible shift patterns
  • Sitting during your shift!
  • A rate of pay that is the equivalent of a Team Leader (£11.92 + £1.44 holiday pay = £13.36 per hour)

Only applicants who can work at all the above listed events will be considered.

If you feel that you fit the bill, please email admin@dcsiteservices.com with your expression of interest, detailing any related experience you have.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
