As the festival season gets underway, we’d like to remind all crew that now is the time to submit any requests you may have, rather than waiting until you arrive onsite at your first event. This may include the following:
- Live-in vehicle/campervan/caravan
- Late arrival/early departures due to other commitments
- Medical equipment you may need to bring
- Working with a friend on the same shift
- A particular shift pattern
- Anything else out of the ordinary
You can contact the admin team at any time by phone, WhatsApp, or email to submit a request. We will log, review, and respond to each one in due course. Please note that if you want to work with a friend or bring a live-in vehicle, you must submit a new request with every application. Asking once to cover all your assignments increases the margin for error. With anywhere up to 500 staff rotating over the summer, we’re unable to track individual profiles and applications manually.
Please also remember that every event and festival site is different and staff compounds can change from year to year. Space for caravans and live-in vehicles is limited, so if we are not told in advance, you may be turned away on arrival. Likewise, if the office team does not know you have applied with a friend, you may be assigned to different teams or shift patterns which can make carpooling difficult (please also make sure your friend has applied alongside you!)
