DC Site Services is holding a Christmas crew party at Sadie’s (formerly known as Childers) in Whittlesey (Manor House, 1A Station Rd, Whittlesey, Peterborough PE7 1SA) on Friday the 12th of December and if you have worked with us previously you are welcome to join us.
This year’s crew party is a special one as we’ll be holding the first annual Dylan Bennett award. For those of you who didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Dylan, he was a dear friend to us, and one of our most knowledgeable and experienced onsite managers and just an all-round standup guy. Dylan sadly passed away this year, and in order to continue his legacy we created the Dylan Bennett award to both remember our friend, and to try and instil and encourage his very best qualities in how we perform and in how we move forward as a company. He was professional, friendly, caring, and dangerous with a stick of garlic bread (if you know you know).
The award itself is designed to cast a spotlight on anyone, at any level who has worked for DC Site Services this year who you felt went above and beyond for another member of staff. Essentially, for anyone who performed in a way in which would have made Dylan proud.
Over the course of the 2025 season, crew have been nominating people who they feel have met this standard and we’re over the moon to have received almost forty nominations over the span of four months.
We’ll be holding a DC version of an award ceremony which will include actual awards, both serious and on the light-hearted side, speeches, slideshows and of course, food, music, drinks and Christmas crackers.

Again, please rest assured that this party is also a crew party and you don’t need to have known this outstanding human being to join us on the night. Even if you didn’t know Dylan, or didn’t make a submission for the award, if you’ve worked with DC Site Services in recent years and would like to join us you are more than welcome to.
A few things to note:
· Arrival time for the crew party is 7pm (for crew who have worked with DC in the past)
· Attire is smart (your interpretation of smart – it’s award themed but we want you to be comfortable!)
· Food provided
· Bar available (not a free bar)
· There is a maximum capacity to this venue, if you would like to attend the party you can ‘apply’ as you would to work at an event with us on DCSS PAAM.
