Summer 2021 is coming! Are you ready?

Posted on Friday, January 29, 2021

If you have festival withdrawals like the rest of us, something you can do to prepare for this year is to check that the information you have listed on your DCSS PAAM profile is still relevant to you. What’s the use of applying to work at a festival if we can’t pay you because your account details are out of date?

Here’s a quick list of things to check:

  • Contact information! (Can we still reach you on the number and email address listed?)
  • Bank details
  • Tax declaration (make sure the correct statement is selected to avoid being overtaxed)
  • Entitlement to work in the UK documents (these MUST be in date)
  • Your photo (recently shaved your head? Be recognisable when you walk onsite and upload a current passport-quality photo)

The above listed are the essentials, however we recommend checking your entire profile while logged in. This is our first post-Brexit festival season, so each profile will need approving upon application, regardless of whether you were approved last season. If everything is still current and in date, then you won’t need to do anything!

Contact the office anytime (we recommend by email) should you have any problems with the above. Let’s start this festival season off on the right foot!

I wanted to send a personal message of thanks to you and your team for all their hard work in assisting with the delivery of the broadcast recording at Whitby Abbey.

From my perspective, I tried incredibly hard to impress on everyone involved in the production just how important it was to ‘leave no trace’ and I have been thrilled to hear the feedback that has suggested we were largely successful in that quest.  The way the venue was kept spotless and ‘sanitised’ is a credit to you and your on-site colleagues – so well done.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with DC Site Services again and both Frankie and I look forward to doing so again in the future.
