Congratulations to Lorraine!

Posted on Wednesday, January 8, 2020

If you’ve worked with DC Site Services, chances are you’ve also worked alongside Lorraine who is a DC veteran.

Having worked with us since 2007, Lorraine has been with the company for a whopping thirteen years. As you can imagine, she has an abundance of experience and is a firm fixture within the company, we’re therefore pleased to congratulate her on passing her ATV training! Lorraine is now qualified to operate ATV vehicles onsite on behalf of DC Site Services at contracted Events & Festivals.

We like to encourage progression and organic growth within the company, and Lorraine is a perfect example of this (having worked every role under the sun with DC!) Please take a moment to leave a quick comment below to tell her well done!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
