Ed Hawker and Julian Arnold joining the DC Site Services team

We're pleased to be able to welcome two new members of staff to the DC Site Services team!

Ed Hawker has joined us as our new Operations Manager and will be supporting Jonathan, our Operations & Development Manager. Ed first joined DC Site Services back in 2003 working onsite at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Since then Ed has moved up in the company, first as a team leader, then supervisor, and eventually taking the lead in recent years as one of our project managers at Glastonbury and Leeds Festival.

Also joining us is our new Office Assistant, Julian Arnold. Julian will be supporting Lindsay, our Office Manager. This is Julian's first office job since leaving school, he plays the trumpet, is very polite and will be your first point of contact when calling or emailing the office.

Please join us in welcoming Ed and Julian to the team!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
