We've been hinting for months that something is on the way and today is the day - its DC Site Services' 20 year anniversary!

All together now Happy Birthday to us, Happy Birthday to us...

DC Site Services was incorporated (turned into a limited company) on the 26th May 1993, so our actual birthday is on Sunday but we all plan to be a little tipsy on Sunday so we thought we'd have the celebration today!

Although DC Site Services was incorporated in 1993 the company and team has a much longer history. To celebrate this Dick Collins has written a full company history which we've added to our new Company History page.

Talking new pages, you may have noticed we've also launched our new website today! We hope you like it and it makes finding all the festival and event info we add that little bit easier. We've added lots of new sections and features such as the comments boxes under news articles - give it a go and let us know what you think!

Oh and we've also got a new logo which we love! What do you think?

To finish things off we've got something a little different. Do you remember Matt Hettle in the Chicken Dance? Well Matt has been at it again - this time underwater! You can find the new Underwater Chicken Dance here!

Thank you to everyone who has worked with us for making the past 20 plus years unforgettable!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
