Glastonbury 2017 and more Event and Festival Work now Available

Thanks to everyone who worked with us over the Christmas period at the Horsham Ice Rink, the Natural History Museum, the New Year’s Day Bristol Event, the New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Best Parties Ever and LWE New Year’s Day. It's been an incredibly busy period and the year has only just begun! Thank you for all of your hard work.

We hope you’ve successfully recovered from your festive celebrations because 2017 is here and applications are now open for events and festivals including Glastonbury festival! Visit the Event Calendar for further details.

As always, here come your annual reminders…

  • Your DCSS PAAM profile. Make sure your DCSS PAM profile is up to date before applying. This includes your Tax Declaration which was automatically reset at the beginning of the new season.
  • You’ll also need to check that your Entitlement to Work in the UK Documents are still in date. If you’re British, this can be either a scan of your passport, or your long-form birth certificate along with an official document from the government which has your name and National Insurance number in print (a payslip, for example). If you’re from Europe a scan of your passport will do, and if you are from outside of Europe you will need a scan of your passport and VISA (all in date).
  • Make your application! We allocate positions on a first come, first served basis. So to better your chances of securing a position and working on the team of your choice, apply early.
  • Requests. If you would like to apply with a friend in the hopes of working together, or you would like to work on a particular team, make sure to note this on your DCSS PAAM profile and to also (and more importantly!) make sure to email your request in. If there’s a particular team you would like to work on for Glastonbury we always suggest sending your top three choices (there will be details in the blue “Info” button regarding each position).
  • Glastonbury festival holds the largest deposit on our books (which then covers you for all other applications). Remember, even if you complete your DCSS PAAM profile and apply, your application will not come through to us until you have paid the deposit.

Let’s get applying!

Should you have any queries regarding an application you would like to make or regarding your DCSS PAAM profile, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the office (01733 200713 or email).

We have been using DC at a number of our events for the past few years and the service they provide is flawless. They are one of the few contractors in the whole events industry that we are confident can complete the service to exactly how we asked whilst keeping costs very competitive. Waste management is a difficult job, DC make it look easy. DC Site Services are highly recommended, a 5 star contractor.
