He knows when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows when you've been good or bad so...no, we're not talking about Matt Hettle but Santa! Yes, it's that time of year again, time to brave the shops to get your significant other their favourite perfume and to annoy your neighbours with seizure-inducing lights and decorations.

We'd like to say a big thank you to our dedicated team working away at the Swarovski Ice Rink, you're all doing a fantastic job!

Apart from the official DC Ice Skating Team (we've mentioned we're expanding!) you've probably noticed that our Event Calendar has been relatively quiet for the past month. If you're based or close to Scotland DC Site Services is providing stewarding, waste and traffic management services to the Drive in Movies at Loch Lomond! You can login and apply now to work with us at Drive in Movies at Loch Lomond from the 18th to 24th December!

Come the start of January 2016 we'll be releasing the entire 2016 DC Site Services event and festival jobs schedule!

So if you'd like to get your Glastonbury Festival 2016 job application in early you no longer need to wait until March to do so. Once you've sufficiently recovered from your turkey coma (or nut roast coma for the veggies out there) please be sure to log into DCSS PAAM to make sure your profile is up to date so you're ready to apply come January!

We'll also soon be sending out our 2015 staff feedback survey. You'll be able to complete this online and it should only take 10 minutes. We'd really appreciate if you could complete the survey so please keep an eye on your email for the link!

 

I wanted to write personally to say a huge thank you to you and your brilliant team for all your hard work to enable to deliver, in such a short space of time, a wonderful Royal Windsor Horse Show.

When we started the planning, we honestly had no idea whether we could or could not run and had so many changes it must have made it almost impossible for your team – however as always they adapted and overcame the many hurdles that we presented, with a smile and a complete can do attitude and many people are saying that it was one of the best show’s that they have ever been to.

Everybody I have spoken to has said how fantastic the cleaning was and that the loos were immaculate, and the showground looked as good on the last day as it did on the first day – which is exactly what any organiser strives to achieve. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was delivered with a smile. Your cleaners were tremendous once again. Even with the date change and the added bonus (!) of COVID everything was delivered on time.
