The Emergency T-shirt!

15 Jun 09

Although officially it's the year of the Ox, for many of us here it's the year of the Emergency T-shirt! You can find out where this mysterious garment originated by reading the info below. If you'd just like to order an Emergency T-shirt you can do so by visiting the teepay website via the link below:

The Emergency T-shirt!

The Hotbox Events Emergency T-shirt started its life as many things do - a conversation which initially had a point turned tangent! Steph Newman (Latitude Festival) was chatting with Mark Hatchard about something he believes was fairly constructive (although can't be sure of that). As it was the end of the day, the conversation had drifted to evening plans. Steph had, understandably, been fairly concerned for the most part of that day about her attire. Fortunately, Steph advised Mark, Steph had managed to source an Emergency T-shirt. At this point Mark pondered out loud that it must surely have been just dumb luck that had enabled Mark to navigate the first thirty years of his life without an Emergency T-shirt. It was then that all agreed that an emergency t-shirt is surely something everyone should be allocated at birth...

As Hotbox has little to do with birthrights; it was decided the best thing to do would be for Mark to take off his Hotbox Events HAT (not an easy task...have you ever tried balancing an entire 'Helpful Arena Team' on your head?) and pop on his Hotbox Studios hat. A few clicks later and the Emergency T-shirt was born...hurrah! We hope you like it!
