The Hettle Bash - Date Changed
15 Jan 09The date of 'The Hettle Bash' has been moved to Saturday 21st February. Apologies to any who have already made plans but unfortunately Dick and Janet couldn’t make the original date and how could we possibly have a party without them! Matt Hettle is arranging the party which will be held near Peterborough, details below.
VENUE: The Railway Inn, Station Road, Whittlesey, PE7 1UF. The Railway Inn is a small family run bar and restaurant with a beer garden situated near Whittlesey Station – somehow Matt has convinced them that hosting the DCSS party is a good idea...

TIMES: 7pm until late (midnight/1am).
FOOD: Buffet.
DRINKS: Bar – some complimentary drinks, possibly opportunities to win more...
MUSIC: There will be some...
TRAVEL (rail): Aim for Peterborough Main then get the local line to Whittlesey.
ACCOMMODATION: We’ll update you with B&B info in the next couple of weeks. The Railway Inn have offered their gardens and car park for those wishing to camp or bring a caravan (basic outdoor facilities available). Some will also be able to camp on Mr Hettle’s estate (nearby). Please let us know if you would like to camp or bring a caravan so we can arrange this.
NUMBERS: Thank you to all those who have let us know they’re coming. If you are planning on attending the party although haven’t yet put your name on the list please do so by logging into PAAM and "applying" for the party (as you apply to work at festivals). It’s at the top of the events list.
