11 Nov 04The first confirmation for 2005's event list has come in, this being T in the Park (Dick's favourite!). The calendar and application will be updated in the first few months of 2005. We'll be letting everyone know when they're live via the DCSS Newsletter - so please update it with your current email address if you haven't already!
We've popped a note in the forum about Glastonbury 2005. As many of you are aware following the numbers of staff we require at Glastonbury are increasing. Of course Glastonbury is a popular event that many of you like to work (we had about 800 applications for Glastonbury 2004!), unfortunately - the numbers we require tend to increase very close to the event. This can make organising things quite troublesome. In an attempt to streamline this and in the process hopefully disappoint as few of you as possible - we'd like to put together a 'first come fist served' style list of those of you interested in working at Glastonbury 2005, as soon as possible! A new event is on the cards for 2005, Dick has a meeting about this in December and we'll let you know about it soon - oh perhaps in a Christmas cracker surprise type December Newsletter?!
