Of course not forgetting our staff who are working through to the New Year at Winterville and other chilly winter 2014 events!

We hope that many of these events and festivals will return to our event calendar in 2015! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our event and festival staff for your hard work throughout the year, and of course our clients for using our services!

DSThe Board of Directors would like to say a special thank you to our operations and administration team for all of their hard work in keeping the company running behind the scenes. We’d like to send out a special thank you to Jonathan Beresford; our new Operations and Development Manager. After several years working with DC Site Services in the summer months whilst completing his studies; Jonathan joined the company full time in February and has brought with him new ideas and a smiley face!

Usually, when the summer season comes to an end, the number of events and festivals which DC Site Services works at typically decreases. In 2014 we've increased our autumn and winter activity. Due to this we'll be looking at our event calendar and recruitment processes and would welcome any feedback! We're already working on a number of new processes and we’ll update you in the New Year as to our plans for 2015 which will hopefully prove to be of benefit to all of our event and festival staff.

Whilst we’re rounding off the year, we'd like to ask that if you have any photos from working with us in the 2014 event season that you'd be happy to share you send them through to our admin email address. For the very best there may even be a prize!

Finally, we'd like to send out a huge thank you to all of our event staff who worked with us this year. It's always great to see returning faces, and exciting to introduce people who haven't worked with us before. We hope to see you all again in 2015!

Wishing you all a very Merry Festival Christmas!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
